This Privacy Policy explains how Career Beast Mode, operated by DGTeca LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Service. By using the Service you agree to this Policy. Defined terms have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
By default, your data lives in your own browser. If you create an account, your data is synced to a secure database where it is isolated to you and not visible to other users. We use your inputs to power your tools and AI coaching. We do not sell your personal data.

Until you create an account, your data is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device and is not transmitted to us. If you create an account, your data is synced to our database (hosted by Supabase) so you can access it across devices. Access is protected by row-level security, meaning each account can read and write only its own records; one user cannot access another user's data. You can export a full backup or permanently delete your data at any time from Settings.
To deliver features, we share limited data with the following processors, only as needed:

We use your data to: operate the tools and generate your scores; provide AI coaching; create and secure your account; sync your data across devices; send sign-in links and necessary service notices; understand aggregate usage to improve the Service; and protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private inputs for advertising.
If you access the Service through an organizational cohort (for example, an employer program), your individual responses, scores, and coaching conversations remain private to your account and are not made visible to the sponsoring organization through the Service. We may share aggregated, de-identified metrics (such as overall completion rates) with the sponsoring organization. We will not share your individual data with your employer unless you expressly consent or we are legally required to do so.
You can: access and edit your information in the app; export a complete backup as JSON; and permanently delete your data (Settings → Reset All Data), which clears your local data and your synced cloud record. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability) under laws like the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them. You can use the Service without an account to keep your data entirely on your device.
We retain account and synced data while your account is active. When you delete your data or account, we remove your synced records; residual copies in backups or provider logs are deleted on those providers' standard cycles. Local-storage data is removed when you reset it or clear your browser.
We use measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security isolating each user's data, server-side handling of all sensitive API keys (no third-party API keys are exposed to your browser), and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We and our providers may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.
We may update this Policy. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
